About us

Sophistolab

Founded in 2011 and based in Muttenz near Basel , we offer tailor-made, high-quality histology services to pharmaceutical and biotech customers as well as research institutes and veterinary pathologists.

With great passion and many years of experience in this field, we have extensive expertise in the processing of various types of human and animal tissue samples. We possess in-depth knowledge in all areas - from conventional staining methods and immunohistochemistry to in-situ hybridisation and multiplexing. For this purpose, we utilise our various automated platforms.

To ensure that our employees are always abreast of cutting edge technology, they regularly take part in advanced training courses and conferences. We apply this knowledge in our daily work and would also be pleased to pass this on to our customers in workshops on specific histological challenges.

Our processes and procedures are geared towards the needs of our customers as well as the regulatory requirements and are certified in accordance with ISO 9001.
